The Harrison County Youth Philanthropy Council is designed to teach skills, to encourage youth to give and serve in their communities and to make philanthropy a “habit of the heart” for future generations.


The program goals are to:

  • Promote youth development through experiences in philanthropyYPCLogo Final
  • Encourage and support community initiatives are youth driven
  • To engage youth and adults in partnership through giving
  • Serve for the common good.
  • To grow the endowment for the future


The Youth Philanthropy Fund which provides youth-led grant making dollars, will benefit from a 2:1 match in 2018.
