Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship
The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship program will provide one scholarship for full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $900.00 per year for required books and required equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis, leading to a baccalaureate degree at any INDIANA public or private college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. A minimum 2.5 of 4.0 or 3.75 of 6.0 Cumulative GPA must be maintained during enrollment.
This scholarship is open to Harrison County residents who will have graduated by the end of June of the award year with a diploma from a regionally accredited Indiana high school and who have been accepted to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course study at an accredited public or private college or university in Indiana.
The 2018 online application will be available August 15th.
Deadline to apply was September 30th at 4:00 p.m.
This universal, online application allows students to apply for the Building Our Future scholarships, IU Southeast scholarships, Founder’s Vocational scholarships and most of our Endowment scholarships all with the ease of one application.
The Universal Application will be available starting the first week in November.
Deadline to apply was January 20th at 4:00 p.m.
Harrison County Hospital Foundation Scholarship
Eligible applicants must have graduated from high school within the last five years, and can be from Harrison & Crawford Counties in Indiana and Meade County, Kentucky. Applicants must have plans to complete higher education in a hospital, medical or healthcare related field. Applicants must include a letter of intent, copy of high school transcripts, letter of recommendation and verification of acceptance from their college of choice.

Miles’ Fund Scholarship
The Miles’ Fund was established provide scholarship support for students in a trade or vocational program. Students must be legal residents of Harrison County and be between the ages of 18-21 years old to be eligible. Scholarship funding may be used for tuition, books, course related fees, required tools, uniforms or supplies*. (*Tools, uniforms and supplies must be verified by the student’s course syllabus and class schedule.)
Applications are due October 31st and March 31st each year. Scholarships will be awarded twice a year ad preference will be given to students who have not received funding in previous application cycles.
