Robert H. Weber was a veteran, farmer and educator who actively mentored family and associates toward further education. After he passed away in 2012, his family created the Robert H. Weber Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) to encourage students to pursue a career in education.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be studying education at the bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral level, and they must have successfully completed at least 24 hours of college credit with an accumulated GPA of at least 2.5. Students must have been legal residents of Harrison County on the date of their high school graduation. Preference will be given to students who are studying math education, science education or elementary education and are currently teaching in Harrison County schools.
