Founders Scholarships

Since 1998, the Harrison County Community Foundation has provided funds each spring to each of the county's four high schools for non-renewable scholarships.

All graduating seniors are eligible for these funds. Scholarship recipients are selected by the individual high school scholarship selection committee who also determine the amounts awarded. Contact your school counselor to apply.

Building Our Future Scholarship

Beginning with the Class of 2007, HCCF now provides each year up to 10 $5,000 renewable scholarships for a total value of $20,000 each. The board of directors will determine annually the number available to each high school based primarily upon senior class size as reported by the high schools in January.

Students will apply through their high school counselor’s office, and recipients will be selected by designated high school selection committees. Harrison County residents who are home-schooled or attend a private school or outside public school are also eligible for this scholarship program. They may apply for the scholarships through the closest Harrison County high school district or the district in which they reside.
