The Corydon Democrat
Wednesday, December 11, 2002Joel Voyles of Palmyra has been selected to serve on the 21-member board of directors of the Harrison County Community Foundation.
He was elected by the board at its annual meeting Dec. 3 to fill the vacancy created by Earl Book, who retired from the board.

He is a 1970 graduate of North Harrison High School and holds a 1975 bachelor's degree in business management from Indiana University Southeast. He and his wife, Cyndi, and their 15-year-old daughter, Kim, live in Palmyra.

"After being elected to the South Harrison school board," said Uesseler, "I just felt I needed to step down to avoid any appearance of a conflict of interest."
Sally Williar of Elizabeth will serve a second term as vice chair, and Tom Tucker of Corydon will continue as treasurer. Qudsia Davis of Corydon will serve her first term as secretary.
