HCCF Accepts Grant Applications

The Harrison County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for the fall 2008 grant cycle. Grant applications must be hand delivered to the HCCF office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, or they may be postmarked by that date.
Applications are available on the HCCF Web site, www.hccfindiana.org, contact the HCCF staff at 738-6668 for a copy.
Grant applications will be reviewed and final announcements should be made by mid-September.
“Excluding major projects, this will be one of the largest grant cycles in our history,” said HCCF Executive Director Steve Gilliland. “We really want to encourage agencies to bring their creative projects and ideas to us this summer.”
The Community Foundation has provided more than $21 million to support not-for-profit projects and scholarships since October 1997. With contributions from Caesars Indiana and donations from the community, the Foundation has a current market value exceeding $90 million.
