The Harrison County Community Foundation will again offer a dollar-for-dollar match to all donations

into its endowed funds that serve Harrison County residents. The policy extends through Dec. 31, 2007,

with the potential to double up to $25,000 from any donor household.

The match applies to all existing or newly created endowment funds held within the Foundation. Additionally, the

Foundation will provide 50 cents on the dollar (up to $12,500) for donations from the same donor, over and above

the initial $25,000. A contribution of $50,000 would net $87,500 into a fund of the donor’s choosing.

HCCF began the matching gift program in 2000 and the board of directors has been pleased with the results.

The total matching dollars provided since the program began in 2000 exceeds $2.3 million.

HCCF is now more than $7l million strong and holds over 100 designated charitable funds. Grantmaking since

inception exceeds $17 million and more than 1,700 donors have made contributions to the Foundation since it was

created in 1996.
