The Harrison County Community Foundation invites the public to visit its new facility at 1523 Foundation Way, Corydon, which is along the way to the YMCA of Harrison County.

On Thursday, April 19, HCCF staff will be available from 3 to 7 p.m.
to provide tours of the new facility. A dedication ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m.

Parking will be available at the facility and additional parking will be available at the YMCA of Harrison County, with shuttle service provided by Blue River Services.

The 5,000-square-foot facility was designed by Michell Timperman Ritz Architects of New Albany. James L. Shireman Inc. of Corydon was the construction firm. Occupancy of the $900,000 facility took place in late January.

“This building is unique and certainly something the community can be proud of,” said Charlie Lynch of Corydon, chairman of the Foundation’s Building Committee.

Approximately half of the facility is used as a conference room and the balance is dedicated to staff spaces.
The conference room has a kitchenette and will accommodate up to 60 people in a theater seating arrangement. The staff area has an extra office space and more offices can be easily added in the years ahead if necessary.

HCCF welcomes non-profit organizations serving Harrison County to use the Conference Room. For information about scheduling a meeting or to obtain a copy of the Conference Room Usage Policy, please contact Vicky Elmore at 738-6668. The policy may also be viewed on the HCCF Web site which is hccfindiana.org.
