HCCF Welcomes New Advisors

The Harrison County Community Foundation Board of Directors recently elected seven Harrison County residents to serve on the HCCF Advisory Council. These new members will fill the vacancies created last year with the election of new board members from the Council.
The HCCF Advisory Councilwas established in December 2004.
Those members serve on various HCCF committees providing additional perspectives and expertise. Each Advisory Council member serves a two-year term that may be renewed.
Those elected were: Martha Beckort, Corydon, school library media specialist at Lanesville Community School Corp.; R. Scott Berkley, Lanesville, Farm Bureau insurance agent; Jason Copperwaite, Corydon, civil engineer, Paul Primavera & Associates; Barbara Crecelius, Corydon, Social Security administration supervisor; Carolyn Wallace, New Middletown, administrative position, South Harrison Community School Corp.; Marion Wallace, New Salisbury, Veterans Service officer, Harrison County; and John Winterkorn, Corydon, retired as general manager at the Aerospace Corp. Additional Advisory Council members
include Larry Schmelz of Georgetown and Bill Taylor of Corydon.
