The Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) announces that the Harrison County Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Application for the Class of 2018 will be available Tuesday, Aug. 15 at hccfindiana.org.
The scholarship is open to Harrison County residents who will have graduated by the end of June 2018 with a diploma from a regionally accredited Indiana high school, and who plan to pursue a full-time bachelor’s degree program at an accredited public or private college or university in Indiana.
The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship program will provide one scholarship to a graduating student in Harrison County for full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis.
Information from only six semesters of the students’ transcripts will be considered for the Lilly application. Applicants will not be required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The deadline to submit applications will be Saturday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. Interviews for the top finalists will occur in October.
