The Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) has created a new scholarship opportunity for students pursuing a career in healthcare.
The Harrison County Healthcare Scholarship will be awarded to Harrison County residents who have been high school graduates for at least one year. The scholarship will be awarded annually with a maximum amount of $5,000 per recipient.
Scholarship awards can be applied toward a healthcare-related certification, associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree. Funds may be used to pay for tuition, course-related fees and books.
The online 2017 Harrison County Healthcare Scholarship application is available at www.hccfindiana.org under the Adult Scholarships tab. Applications must be submitted online by Thursday, June 15 at 4 p.m. to be considered.
